The Song of the Ancient Ones, Verse 37

Death stared at Geborrin

“Everyone will leave this world with me before it’s last days have passed. Yet now is not your time. You and I will meet again. You do not know what you have done. There is much Life in your future, and much death. This will not be the last time we speak.”

Geborrin stood to his feet, his strength slowly returning. “Are you leaving?”

Death turned away from him. “For now.”

And he was gone.
